Michael and I started making candles in 2006 as gifts for our wedding.  The following year, we saved our jars and we would make candles for Christmas for our friends, family, and work associates.  Everyone would always ask where they could buy the candles, and we explained that we made them as gifts in our home kitchen.  

January of 2015, Michael and I finally decided to start our own company with the creation of Bear and Roo Candle Co.  We named it after our children, Chloe "Bear" and Reese "Roo." We specialize in 100% all-natural, soy wax candles that are beautifully scented.  Soy wax is a renewable resource grown by American farmers.  It creates less soot and creates a great scent throw.  They also burn longer than petroleum based waxes.  We use pure cotton wicks for a clean burn. We also use premium fragrance oils that are phthalate free. 

We still make them in small batches, by hand and each one is unique. We hope when you light our candle that it brings you love and light! Thank you for supporting our family business!
